Impact of climate change

Increase in air pollution paves way for asthma and cardiovascular disease. Due to extreme weather conditions, water-borne diseases such as cholera, leptospirosis and so on may occur. This may also leads to respiratory allergies. In addition to it, vector-borne diseases such as Malaria and dengue may also occur. 

As a result of increasing sea level, infections may spread through water and food supply. This leads to malnutrition, diarrhoea and harmful algal blooms. Hence, steps must be taken to prevent the worst impacts of climate change.

Crop rotation

This image shows the rotation of crops.

Crop rotation is growing different types of crops in the same area. This reduces the reliance on one set of nutrients, reduces weeds, problems with insects, and also the development of pests. 

Planting same crops in the same place may deplete the amount of certain nutrients in the soil and so crop rotation is essential. These rotations are also helpful in controlling corn rootworm, nematodes and diseases like root rot of field peas.

Working of Tape recorder

Tape recorder is the first ever recorder for audio singals using tapes which consists of strips of data storage. Some specific microphones help to record the audio of the sound source which is converted into digital signals through audio amplifier. It is then stored in the tape again and audio amplifier from the tape helps to give sound output to the speaker. It receives recording and sends the audio signals.

Types of transformer

This images shows the different types of transformer.Transformer is a device helps to reduce and increase the voltage as per the requirement of power in any particular area. Transformer is working on the basic principle of electromagnetic induction through which an AC current passes through a coil and generates electro magnetic force ( emf ) which helps to induce the another coil. Hence the voltage of the second coil is controlled by using power supply of the first coil. The distribution transformer is found in a particular street or area whereas power transformer is found in industrial area.

Types of mobile camera

This image shows the types of camera in mobile phone. 

Ultra wide camera helps to cover a wide angle with 120° from the vision point of camera. This is working based on our human eye movements at a maximum of 123°. It helps to cover wide distance but it do not focus as much telephoto camera. 

A telephoto lens, in photography and cinematography, is a specific type of a long-focus lens in which the physical length of the lens is shorter than the focal length. The angle of view and other effects of long-focus lenses are the same for telephoto lenses with the same specified focal length.

The Depth Vision camera is a Time of Flight camera in some of the mobile phones. It judge the depth and distance and makes the photo to high standards. It measures the distance using the speed of light by counting the time taken for the reflected beam to reach the sensor.

Functions of bacteria

This image shows the uses of harmless bacteria. 

Some bacteria lives in our body are harmless. They are helping us in many ways. Some of them are discussed below-

They promote the storage of fat and develop the immune system. They promote angiogenesis and modulate the bone-mass density. Bacteria acts as a protection against epithelial injury and also give resistance to pathogens. They break down the food compounds and help in modifying the nervous system. It assists in the metabolism of therapeutics and in the biosynthesis of vitamins, amino acids etc.
