Rotating cogs or gears are used to transfer fluids. The rotating element develops a liquid seal within the pump and creates suction at the pump inlet. Fluid, which is drawn into the pump is enclosed within the cavities of the rotating gears and are transferred.
If we need to change the pressure of the water through changing the gear ratio ( gear speed Vs gear teeth), normal pump do not have this benefit. This can be developed for marine engine system with the help of water.
