Pond aeration is the process of increasing oxygen in a pond to improve the quality of water. This results in allowing fish, aquatic insects, and aerobic bacteria to decompose non-living organic matter in the pond.
Pond aeration increases the process of oxidation. This system works on the basis of special equipment called aerators. Dissolved oxygen is added to the pond which improves water quality and allows aerobic bacteria to decompose organic matter which naturally reduces pond weeds.
